The rocking horses normally come in three sizes.....medium, large and extra large. All rocking horses are very strong and can bear the weight of a fully grown adult but, as a generalisation, take the following as a guide.

Medium is suitable for up to approximately 5 years.
Large  is suitable for up to approximately 12 years and
Extra Large for a small to medium sized adult.

ROCKERS or SWINGERS
All rocking horses can be supplied on either bow rockers or safety swinger stands. The cost is the same.
Swingers take up less space than the bow rockers.

COLOURS and WOOD
Painted rocking horses can be supplied in any colour, though dapple dapple is the most traditional. They can be supplied with a gloss or matt finish and can be "aged" to give an antique appearance.
Painted rocking horses are made from plantation-grown American Whitewood (Liriodendron tulipifera).
Natural wood rocking horses are french polished and waxed to a deep shine. They can be in almost any suitable wood (subject to availability) but mahogany and maple are used mostly.

VIEWING
Visitors to the rocking horse workshop in Cornwall are always welcome. As the rocking horses are exclusively available through The Kensington Rocking Horse Company, you will probably find that the best place to view a selection is their showroom and rocking horse shop in Sussex.
